INNERVISION, in collaboration with Levy Restaurants, offers training and job placement opportunities at Mercedes Benz Stadium, the home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United. Participants gain skills in basic food handling, inventory management, hands-on training, job readiness, and more.

To participate, participants must be referred by the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency. INNERVISION ensures that Levy Restaurants interviews all qualified candidates. Additionally, INNERVISION provides the necessary training, job coaching, and guidance to support participants working at Mercedes Benz Stadium.

WHAT IS CONCESSIONS TRAINING & EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM?

Concessions Training & Employment provides education, job training, and jobs to adults with disabilities who reside within the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area.

WHAT TYPES OF JOBS DO WE TRAIN FOR?

Concessions Training & Employment trains adults in skills needed to maintain employment, and we emphasize skills utilized in the concessions industries.

WHAT DOES THE TRAINING CONSIST OF?

ARE TRAINEES PROPERLY SUPERVISED DURING TRAINING AND OJT (ON-JOB-TRAINING)

Yes.  At no times will the trainees be unsupervised within the facility or OJT.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE PROGRAM?

This is a paid OTJ program. Participants work for Levy Restaurants at the Mercedes Benz Stadium concession. 

ARE MEALS PROVIDED?

Yes. For each event worked, participants will receive a meal ticket. Meals are taken before events.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS?

The Concessions Training & Employment has four basic eligibility requirements.  These are the requirements to participate:

  • Must be the age of 18 or older

  • Must be referred by GVRA

  • Must be living within the Metro Atl, GA area

  • Must have a medical diagnosis with a  disability

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROJECT HIREME PROGRAM?

  • Must be able to self medicate (or take medications outside of program hours)

  • Must possess a willingness to work

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?

INNERVISION offers an individualized training concept. Trainees receive ongoing training, helping them to reinforce and master the skills that they have learned as well as helping them to develop additional skills training.

HOW LONG CAN A PARTICIPANT STAY IN THE ON-THE JOB TRAINING?

This is a paid work experience and considered employment for those who wish to continue.

DO YOU PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM HOME?

No, it is the responsibility of the applicant and the guardian to get the applicant to the work site.

ARE APPLICANTS ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM JUST BY COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FOR ENTRANCE?

GVRA must refer applicants and then have an initial meeting assessed by the program director. If both the applicant and the program director agree to participate, the participant will interview with the Levy Restaurant management team. Once hired, and all necessary documents have been submitted and approved, the applicant can begin training and working.

IS THIS A FULL TIME?

No, this is part-time, the job is per event only. Therefore, you will only working days there are events. An event calendar will be provided each month.
